Description:	This series of regional calls in provided to allow you to strategize with the Center and your neighboring counties for District Days: - Northern California -- Tuesday, August 24th, 10 am - Gold Country -- Tuesday, August 24th, 11 am - Central California -- Wednesday, August 25th, 10 am - Bay Area/Central Coast -- Wednesday, August 25th, 11 am - Los Angeles -- Wednesday, August 25th, 1 pm - Southern California -- Wednesday, August 25th, 2 pm The goal of Local Legislative District Days (September 20-24, 2010) is to have tobacco control advocates across the state schedule visits with their legislators. As you remind your legislator of the all the work you are doing in their community you’ll be part of a coordinated wave of information and education about the importance of tobacco control around the state. This is also an opportunity to involve coalition members or key community leaders who were not able to come to Sacramento for a Capitol legislative visit in the spring.
